She led the nursing team of GDPH to win the honorary title of Excellent Hospital in National High-quality Nursing Service Assessment. The Nursing Department of GDPH is one of the first national key clinical nursing specialties and one of the 23 pilot hospitals for nursing position management in China.

She once won a scholarship to study in Germany for one year. She won the second prize of the first Guangdong Nursing Science and Technology Progress Award in 2005; the third prize of the second Guangdong Nursing Science and Technology Progress Award in 2007, the first prize of the Science and Technology Award of Guangdong Nursing Association in 2009 and 2013; the honorary titles of "national excellent scientific and technological worker", "national excellent director of nursing department", "outstanding female scientific and technological worker in Guangdong Province", top ten "excellent nurse" in Guangdong Province, and excellent hospital administrator in Guangdong Province.

She has published more than 80 papers as the first author and corresponding author, edited and coedited 10 professional books, presided over and participated in 16 national and provincial scientific research projects, including 5 provincial projects. She is editorial board member of Chinese Nursing Management, Chinese Nursing Research, Journal of Nursing Science, Journal of Nurses Training, etc.
